WrenchBid — Brand & Interface Design for a Contractor Quoting App

Brand identity, interface design direction, iterative UX testing, ongoing social strategy

The Problem

WrenchBid is a mobile app built for contractors and tradesmen to quote and invoice jobs on-site using speech-to-text, with built-in Stripe payment collection. The product needed a brand and interface identity that would feel credible and fast to a busy, non-technical, often on-the-move user — someone quoting a job from a truck, not a desk.

The Work

I developed the logo and full brand identity — color system and visual language — built to hold up at small scale on a phone screen and read clearly in bright outdoor light, a real constraint for a field-use tool. I worked closely with the product team to translate that identity into interface direction, then stayed embedded through multiple rounds of testing: using the app in realistic conditions, surfacing friction points, and feeding that back into interface and brand refinements.

The Outcome

WrenchBid is live and in active use. My involvement has continued past initial launch — periodic testing rounds as the product evolves, and I was recently brought on to lead social media content and management, extending the brand identity into an ongoing content presence.
